THE CHALLENGE
Kokanee Chalets has social media accounts on both Instagram and Facebook. When I took over the social media management, there were a few challenges:
Photos promoting the campsite were misleading and incorrect leaving customers confused about what to expect
They were following 2X the number of followers (with many accounts being fake) impacting how the algorithm favoured posts
Very low engagement on posts (both likes, comments, shares)
In the midst of travel bans due to COVID-19

LIKES
My client saw a huge 193% average increase in the number of likes their posts received since Buffalo Marketing took over their account.

INTERACTIONS
Another huge win is that post interactions have increased by 100%!

VIDEO CONTENT
Utilizing short-form video on these platforms has been very beneficial. 3 short videos have currently resulted in over 7000 views and have also contributed to reaching new accounts and growing the customer base

COMMUNITY
Key relationships have been developed with large accounts with similar target audiences resulting in valuable cross-promotions. Through my hashtag strategy their posts were noticed and shared by accounts such as Parks Canada with over 500K followers.
